Pra Somdej Wat Keschaiyo 7 Chan

Stunning example, guaranteed 100% genuine.  Not entirely mint, which is reflected in the price, yet still exceptionally beautiful and highly desirable

The Pra Somdej Wat Keschaiyo group of amulets are classified amongst those that are attributed to Pra Somdej  Puttajan Toh Promrangsee. These pims predominately share the same unique composition as the Wat Rakang  and Wat Bangkunprom somdej amulets.

Wat Keschaiyo, Angtong pims,  were made in 10 different styles, and stored in the Kru at three different time periods. These are the least expensive of the major Somdej Toh amulets and were blessed from BE 2393 onwards. This example is Pra Somdej 7 Chan Ok Rong (Open Chest)

The first period they were made at Wat Rakhang and stored at Wat Keschaiyo in BE 2393. The second time they were made at Wat Rakhang and again stored at Wat Keschaiyo to replace the pims stolen after the chedi was broken. Third occasion made at Wat Rakhang  and stored at Wat Keschaiyo, this time to replace missing amulets after a thief had dug into the sacred kru.

These amulets are made from lime (mortar, calcium oxide) , ground shell, pong itijay, pong puthakun, pong pathamang, pong maharat and pong dtree. All these sacred powders are combined with many other auspicious constituents including khao suk, banana and dried flowers .
