Luang Phor Dee Ratanachoto, was
born in Banbanghoi Village,
Kabinburi District, Prachinburi
Province, on January 1,
B.E.2468, in the family of
Mr.Boodech and Mrs.Now Chaivijit.
The province is also renowned
for other famous monks, such as
LP Jard of Wat Banghoi and LP Ia
of Wat Bandan, both who have
passed away.
Luang Poo Dee Ratanachoto was
officially ordained on April 22,
B.E.2509 at Wat Bhotisritaworn,
by Prakru Udompariyuttikun, who
acted as Pra Upucha (ordaining
organizer), and for five further
years Luang Phor Dee remained at
the temple to help take care of
the senior monk
During those years he also
learned many magic sciences and
sacred spells including Jed
Tumnan, Sipsong Tumnan and Phra
Katha Patimoke.
The year after that he met and
learnt many Khmer magic sciences
from Luang Phor Kumdee, resident
of Srakaew Province,
particularly the sacred science
to create “Takrut Nungkwai
amulets”, these amulets were
made of buffalo skins and could
be inserted under the flesh to
believe it or not kill or harm.
|
It was said that once the sacred
spells were recited the amulets
could be delivered into the
victims body, and consequently
destroy the internal organs.
Moreover he also learned magic
sciences from several other
senior monks such as LP Muen
Thitasilo of Wat Banjanpatrarom
and LP Muern Thanutamo of Wat
Bangklonsaitai, both monks were
very long-lived passing away at
109 and 105 years respectively.
Afterwards he returned to his
temple to teach and meditation.
The senior monk created the
Hanuman Kaipetch amulets, made
of bronze, with two sacred
Takrut Patamung Natong amulets
embedded into the base.
Luang Poo Dee Ratanachoto is
highly respected by the locals
for his famous sacred amulets
particularly Takrut Patamung
Natong amulets, famous now for
almost 3 decades. These amulets
were made from copper plates,
each engraved with a sacred
spell.
The Takruts were created
strictly in accordance with the
regulations of LP Jard, Wat
Bangkabao, who had taught this
magic science to Luang Poo Dee.

Furthermore the senior monk also
used the cool power of the angel
of water to increase the sacred
power of his amulets and he said
by this way all worshippers of
the amulets would be calm and
charming just like the cool
water.
Moreover the amulets are also
respected for the sacred power
that could help protect them
from dangers, evil and weapons.
Each of the
amulets are filled with Keaw kaew
Hanuman sacred powder mixed with
other kinds of sacred powder
including Kesornthep powder,
which he had kept for more than
5 years and blessed for at
least 15 months before being
used.
Tipayachoke powder given to him
by LP Muern Thanutamo while they
both traveled in the deep
forests to practice meditation.
Tipayachoke powder is made of
several kinds of auspicious
flowers such as Poisian, a kind
of good-fortune plant, Daorerng,
(meaning prosperity). All the
plants were blessed many times.
The senior monk revealed that he
had used an ancient bronze sword,
an axe, a bracelet, a sacred-water bowl
and 108 sacred bronze plates all engraved with
the Pichaisongkram
spell, along with 108 bronze
plates, engraved with the
Mahametta spell.
Only
1,299 pieces of the amulets were
blessed.
These amulets are highly
desirable because LP Dee had personally
engraved and recited sacred
spells for each and every amulet
to ensure that they were truly
sacred |
