Nang Kwak consecrated by Luang Phor Nong, Wat Klong Madam. Probably one of the most famous monks from Suanburi province.
Before the Great Guru Luang Phor Niam of Wat Noi, Suphanburi, passed away in B.E.2453, he told Luang Phor Parn of Wat BangnomKho, " my son, if I should die and you require additional knowledge in Dhamma or Visha, please take instruction from Luang Phor Nong, he will take my place."
Luang Phor Nong himself passed away at the age of 68 in the year B.E.2477. The posture of his body at death was that of respect to Lord Buddha, a reclining attitude with both hands at chest level in prayer.
His body remains un-decomposed, just as his teachers body Guru Luang Phor Niam. Similarly the body of Luang Phor Parn who passed away a few years later in BE 2481, remains in an identical state.
LP Nong was both highly respected and revered. He was known for his great Dhamma and charitable works.
